The STEP Program

UPDATE 9/28/12:

It is really a good news the State of IL acquired the STEP grant $1,069,079  for the second round in year of 2013.  At the first year, our ITC center has helped 15 local businesses receive the STEP grant to support their trade mission to China, Germany, Canada,etc. Through the trade mission, the clients reported the predicted export sales up to $120 million.

The State Trade and Export Promotion Program (STEP) is a new launched program to help Illinois’s Small and Medium- Sized businesses develop overseas markets for their products and services. The STEP program will provide 50%-75% partial travel reimbursement for the international travel cost and financial assistance covering associated costs including trade show booth fees ,group ground transportation , match making fees, etc .
